MSTA is the only Full member of the International Federation of Swimming Teachers’ Association in Malaysia to provide the highest teaching standards and water survival skills with the International standards.

The International Federation of Swimming Teachers’ Associations (IFSTA) represents and unites the world’s swimming teaching bodies in the common goal of reducing deaths by drowning through improving standards in teaching swimming and other survival techniques.

MSTA is the only official training provider and recognized Approved Training Centre for Safety Training Awards of the Swimming Teachers’ Association United Kingdom to provide professional and quality teaching methods.

MSTA is partnering with Australian Swimming Coaches and Swimming Teachers’ Association for more programs and extension courses in ASCTA coaching and Swim Australia teaching courses.

The Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association (ASCTA), is the peak body for swimming Coaches and Teachers in Australia. ASCTA have a range of priorities for the further development of the learn-to-swim & safer safety Industry and the sport of swimming.

ASCTA is dedicated to developing world leading practises in the education, accreditation, professional development and on-going support for swimming Coaches and swimming and water safety Teachers.

ASCTA objective is “To improve professional standards for swimming Coaches and swimming and water safety Teachers through education, accreditation, professional development, and ethical Practice”.

MSTA is the Institution member of the Life Saving Society Malaysia to support and enhanced the water safety requirements in Malaysia.

The Life Saving Society Malaysia (LSSM ) is a national, voluntary, non-profit organisation that dedicate towards providing the knowledge and skills needed to save lives from drowning and emergencies related to cardiac arrest. . LSSM Objective is :“To develop and promote awareness of water safety as a basis of teaching swimming to people, especially children”

MSTA is in collaboration with University Putra Malaysia (UPM) for the Online Module on Water Safety as a pre-requisite for all swimming teacher candidate’s certification.

MSTA collaborations with IOA for Aquaphobia courses to enhance and provide continual programs for swimming teache

Aquaphobia Learning Programme (ALP) and the Certificate in Teaching Aquaphobia (CTA) are courses that build confidence in the water and addressing all forms of fear.

The ALP and CTA have a step by step approach to support those with a fear of water with the aim of providing the confidence, skills and techniques to be able to enjoy the unique freedom that being in water can give. These courses will further provide the extra skills to swim teachers to attend to learners with aquaphobia.

MSTA collaborations with Aquabatix for its Artistic swimming teaching courses to enhance and provide continual programs to swimming teachers.
