MSTA organized a year-end conference on 11 & 12 November this year, we had the privilege to invite Ms. Debby Tattoli from New South Wales, Australia to share with us a range of topics from baby swimming to squad training.
Debby has more than 30 years’ experience, she sits in the Swim Australia Advisory Committee member and ASCTA National board member. An accomplished and driven professional, she has a passion for all things swimming. As a business owner, head coach, active teacher and course presenter, Debby has expertise across a broad range of aquatic industry issues. She oversees 6 Swim Schools with over 120 staff and is dedicated to providing rewarding career opportunities and professional development to continually upskill her team and the broader swimming community. Debby is currently the Head Coach of Kincumber Pacific Dolphins Swim Team and has produced multiple State and National Representatives, medalists and record holders.

NON-NEGOTIABLES IN LEARN TO SWIM
This session focuses on the key points for teaching freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke concentrating on body position.
TEACHING TURNS IN LEARN TO SWIM
Easy to follow progressions for young beginners to learn and master competitive turns. Video breakdown of each step was discussed.

FROM LTS TO MINI SQUAD
This session looks at how to make the leap from swimming lessons to squads in a gentle and successful way. Key skills that beginner squad swimmers need to be comfortable in the transition.
SQUAD MANAGEMENT
Tips on how to utilise Pool Space, cater to different levels and create an environment of fun and swimming excellence.

Key tips and practical workshop on ensuring successful submerging for young babies.
