Sometimes the most precious talent is all but hidden out of sight however its resilience will shine … lessons from this camellia flower….. the most precious talent often comes from the bottom of the bunch ….. to the untrained eye it can be difficult to identify…. There few rules for identifying special talent …. It will require individual and special nurturing to ensure its potential is fully appreciated…. It must be nurtured with care to ensure its longevity…. There are no short cuts to displaying its potential and talents…. It is on display but easily overlooked…. It may need protection due to many issues but none greater than its location…. inadvertently it may even be trampled….. given its protected environment it may require specific and special fertiliser…. Over or under protected it may not last its expected existence of a full journey …. animals may urinate on it but god given resilience and superior adaptability will guarantee its full life …. Due to care it will survive all weather conditions…. There is a wonderful and beautiful flower on every bush …. Too much water or too little will not be good …. It’s amazing existence must be appreciated and valued …. too much or not enough sun and light will reduce its longevity and growth !!! However given all of this and more ; its parent genes will be required along with a skilled and experienced horticultural influence in advance but with some luck it will grow to its full and wonderful beauty and then when this is repeated for the entire bush it’s leadership will shine through to a full bush and team of undeniable excellence. Sometimes this beauty may need fertiliser and gentle pruning …. All whilst acknowledging that as the young flower is nurtured so shall it shine. Only when the horticulturist’s genius has developed this bush and flower many times can they replicate this orchestral performance of perfection. A task for a few who have learnt this winning and repeated challenge of excellence in delivery and unfortunately, the death bed of recognised but underdeveloped or over exposed precious talent.
